He is qualified Chartered Accountant with over 23 years of progressive experience in Taxation and Business Consulting, specializing in Transfer Pricing, International Taxation, and Corporate Restructuring. He has a proven track record of advising and managing complex tax and regulatory matters for large corporates, including Fortune 500 companies, across diverse industries.
Prior to his current role, Alok served as Director – Taxation & Transfer Pricing at S. S. Kothari Mehta & Co., one of India’s leading audit and consulting firms, where he spent over 12 years advising clients on international taxation, transfer pricing strategies, and corporate tax planning.
He has argued a large number of cases before Revenue Authorities and Tribunals across India, representing clients in matters of international taxation, transfer pricing, and corporate tax disputes. His in-depth understanding of the Indian tax and regulatory landscape has made him a trusted advisor to several multinational companies, where he also serves on the Board.
His expertise spans India entry strategies, cross-border structuring, tax planning, and FEMA advisory, with a strong focus on delivering pragmatic and compliant business solutions in a dynamic regulatory environment.
An accomplished speaker and thought leader, Alok has been a guest speaker at numerous seminars and conferences organized by various branches of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He has also conducted training sessions for Indian Revenue Officers and senior officials of large Public Sector Undertakings, sharing his insights on evolving taxation and compliance frameworks.
